Auxiliary Programs is excited to announce the Summer at Shorecrest CIT Program. New for summer 2023, the Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program is an internship / apprenticeship for Shorecrest students entering 7-10th grades who are interested in becoming a camp counselor. Participants will train under Corinne Leavengood '14, Assistant Director of Auxiliary Programs, and be mentored by Corinne as well as other senior counselors in the program. Participants will pay a small fee to cover training (dates TBD), CIT uniforms, and lunches. Students can earn volunteer service hours through the program as well. CITs must commit to at least 3 weeks of half days, but may work full days if desired.
