Through the study of world cultures and the acquisition of advanced language skills, participants in GSI at Shorecrest gain an appreciation for the significance of human choices upon the planet and all of its inhabitants. In essence, GSI allows students to “major” in international studies during their high school years.

Four Components of the GSI Program

  • Specific coursework
  • Meeting progress benchmarks
  • Research portfolio
  • Final project presentation during fall of 12th grade

Students who successfully complete all GSI requirements earn a special endorsement on their Shorecrest diplomas attesting to their work.
