Just as our teachers do for their students, Shorecrest seeks to foster a commitment to lifelong learning in our employees. Faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in ongoing professional learning opportunities, including continuing education, professional conferences, networking with peers at other schools, and more.
- Each school year Shorecrest hosts multiple professional days without students on campus for faculty and staff to participate in on-site professional development organized at the department or division level or through the Center of Innovative Teaching and Learning.
- Through ongoing faculty and staff meetings and professional learning communities, Shorecrest faculty share their experiences and expertise with one another, presenting recent takeaways from a conference or accreditation visit, teaching a new tech skill, or a variety of other intra-school professional topics.
