Food Allergies

SAGE menus, ingredients and nutritional information are published online.

Access lunch Menus

To help find safe items in the dining room click on the allergens/restrictions tab in the online menu. Then, choose the allergen(s) that you want to avoid and see how the menu adjusts. If you want to know more about a dish, click directly on the menu item to get the full list of ingredients. All of the food offered by SAGE is peanut and tree-nut-free. All foods containing any of the 12 main allergens are labeled on the serving line and trained food service staff are on hand to answer any questions during lunchtime.

All families are asked to indicate any food allergies in their student information forms before the start of each school year, or as new allergies arise. For students with severe allergies, the School Nurse will set up a protocol with the Food Service Director as needed.

Charger Commons Dining Rooms

Salad bar in dining room

Charger Commons is home to two dining rooms - one designed specifically for Lower School students, through which SAGE staff and Shorecrest teachers help students tailor their meals. Students in 4th-12th grades, faculty, staff and visitors dine in the main dining room, with staggered lunch times according to the grade or division-specific schedule. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available.

Students in The Experiential School have their snacks and meals delivered to their classrooms. In addition to including lunch for all students, daily snack is included in tuition for Experiential School students.

The Charger Commons Dining Room includes a retail coffee and snack cafe, and a full-service, commercial grade kitchen.
