Extended Day (ES & LS)
Extended Day is designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and enjoyable environment for children who require supervision beyond school hours. Staffed by engaging and caring youth development professionals, children in Extended Day enjoy a lightly structured program that recreates the after school neighborhood experience so important to childhood. Children enjoy healthy snacks, play in multi-aged groups, get assistance with homework, explore art materials, practice social skills, and develop strength on the playground.
The Extended Day Program has a 4:30pm pickup option and 6pm pickup option. Register by the day, month, or year, based on your schedule and child care needs.
Middle School After Hours
The Middle School After Hours program is available for students in grades 5-8 from the end of dismissal until 5:30pm. Staffed by two Middle School teachers, this program will support your Middle School student with a relaxed but structured environment to get homework done and connect with friends. Supervised activities for Middle School students include an afternoon snack, study hall, a student lounge and outdoor play.
Middle School After Hours has 4pm, 4:30pm, or 5:30pm pickup options. Register by the day, trimester, or year, based on your schedule and child care needs.
School Closed Child Care
Limited child care is available for Alpha – fourth graders when school is closed: half days and full days with no school (not including federal holidays or school breaks). These days are included in the Extended Day Annual Plan, and available for an additional drop-in fee for all other students. Space is guaranteed for annual plan registrants, but limited for drop-ins.
