Varsity Boys Soccer vs. Calvary: 0-2 Loss.
Varsity Boys Soccer vs. Northeast High: Tie 2-2.
JV Boys Soccer vs. Calvary Christian: 0-1 Loss.
Though the Chargers lost, they played their hardest, being scored on with under two minutes left in the match. The defensive back line was phenomenal.
Varsity Girls Soccer vs. George Jenkins High School: Tie 0-0.
It's always challenging playing against a much larger school, and it's made all the more difficult when playing without a few starters. The Chargers played a physical game and had a few opportunities to score, but it was the midfield that kept the team battling all the way to the end.
JV Boys Soccer vs. St Petersburg Catholic: 0-1 Loss.
MS Girls Soccer vs. St. Stephens: 4-0 Win!
The Chargers dominated against St. Stephens, rarely seeing the ball in their defensive third of the field. Their goal scoring started three minutes into the game with Sophia S. '30 putting the ball into the side net off a cross from Avree V. '30. Shortly thereafter Skye H. '29 scored on a crossed ball from Kai E. '30. Sophia S. '30 scored two more goals on penalty shots as Morgan M. '29 and Khali C. '28 were fouled inside the 18 yard box. Credit for the shut out goes to Laine C. '30 in goal. Congratulations to the entire team for the best played game of the season thus far!
Varsity Girls Soccer vs. Newsome High School: 2-3 Loss.
The Chargers faced off against their opponent from the first pre-season game in what would prove to be a battle against themselves more than the opponent. Low intensity had the Chargers down by three goals after the first half. The second half demonstrated how the team could come together to prove that they may be down but are never out of the fight.
JV Boys Soccer vs. Tampa Catholic: 0-3 Loss.
