Class of 2023 Celebrates College Decision Day

The Shorecrest centennial Class of 2023 celebrated College Decision Day on May 1. This is a national day when most high school seniors make their final decision on where they will attend college. The Chargers wore gear from their future schools, while faculty dressed in T-shirts celebrating their alma maters.

The day began with seniors sharing a special breakfast with their kindergarten and first grade buddies. The kindergarteners also surprised the seniors at break by singing to them from the steps outside Landy Hall. During Community Time snacks and a photoshoot took place on Landy Deck.

Overall College Decision Day was a time for the seniors to celebrate their hard work and look forward to the next exciting chapter in their lives. View photos from the day here.
