Beads of Hope Success

Over winter break, the Key Club (Upper School service club) raised $3200 for Beads of Hope Africa. The generosity of shoppers who purchased bracelets will provide 9 scholarships for Ugandan children to attend school! It will also allow Ugandan women to continue to make these bracelets to help themselves and their children. Once again a thank you to those who sold and to those of you who bought!

Thank you also to Canvas Fashion Gallery, who hosted the club for jewelry sales. In just a few weeks, the Shorecrest community has a special shopping night at the newly opened Canvas! Join us Wednesday, February 17 from 7-9pm. 10% of proceeds will benefit Shorecrest.
