Patricia Farese, a physical therapist who founded her own company - Farese Physical Therapy Center, as well as a Charger Alumni parent, visited Lisa Peck's Anatomy and Physiology class. She shared a video and a presentation that explored a variety of directions one can take in the area of physical therapy.
Students learned about all the roles that therapists take on and how they act as educators and motivators to help improve their patients' health. From helping strengthen people with heart conditions to assisting veterans become accustomed to prosthetics, physical therapy is a wide-open field that is flourishing and continuing to grow.
The class thanks Mrs. Farese for her time and interesting presentation!
