Environmental Science hears from Tesla

Two representatives from Tesla visited the Shorecrest Upper School Honors Environmental Science class. They spoke to students about Tesla's mission and how electric cars can help people lead a more sustainable lifestyle. After their presentation, the students were able to interact with two different Tesla models on campus.
Tesla's ecosystem (solar, batteries and vehicles) aims to reduce the environmental impacts of transportation, electricity production and energy use by people, homes, businesses and the grid. In 2006, prior to the launch of the Tesla Roadster, there was no viable all-electric vehicle option on the market.
