It was a tough loss for the Chargers Varsity Football team vs Lakeside Christian on September 25, but the team was resilient. After trailing 34-12 with 4:00 to play in the third quarter, they fought their way back into contention, scoring two touchdowns in the last 4 minutes of the quarter to close the score to 42-26.
A 56 yard touchdown was run by Théo Simon '22; a 71 yard touchdown reception by James Floto '23 (from Max Stover '21); a 69 yard touchdown reception by Auston Shore '23 (from Drew Bunn '23).
A highlight: Drew Bunn '23 entered the game at quarter with 4:30 to play and completed the game at quarterback. He threw for 175 yards and 2 touchdowns.
