Shorecrest Upper School students in Mrs. Brazee's U.S. Honors History class participated in a Red Scare mock trial. The usual suspects (U.S. Senator Joseph R. McCarthy and Richard Nixon) were there, as well as Walt Disney and Dalton Trumbo among others.
AP Psychology students had the opportunity to observe the mock trial and relate it to concepts they are learning about in a unit on Social Psychology, including conformity, obedience and roles.
