Learning Email Etiquette, College Podcast

Shorecrest's College Counseling Team is motivated to build relationships and help develop essential skills in Upper School students throughout their educational experience. The College Counseling Office partnered with the English Department this week to teach ninth graders proper email etiquette. In addition to evaluating examples and situations in which professional emails are important, students were asked to email Dan Burkett, the Assistant Director of College Counseling, and ask for a summary of the presentation. In response, Mr. Burkett provided constructive feedback on the format of the emails received.

Additionally, Myra Simpson, the Director of College Counseling, introduced herself to the ninth graders and gave a brief overview of the four-year College Counseling curriculum offered at Shorecrest.
