US Students experience different cultures at SPIFFS

As part of their unit on culture and language, Mrs. O’Horo’s AP Human Geography students spent a few hours experiencing the St. Petersburg International Folk Festival last Friday. This event immersed the group in many international folk cultures. There was a large crowd of students in attendance who talked with volunteers representing over 30 different cultures, sampled folk foods and experienced music and dance performances from many areas of the world.
