Through generous funding of The Jan and Craig Sher Service Learning Fund, Shorecrest is able to offer two scholarships for students interested in a national Service Week opportunity. Students must:
- Attend Shorecrest Upper School
- Receive at least 50% financial aid
- Have a 2.5 GPA or higher
- Have zero suspensions
Students must write an essay to apply and once the trip is completed. Priority will be given to seniors and juniors. Students can only receive this award once. Please contact Mr. Duran-Medina at [email protected] if you are interested and believe you/your student qualifies. There is also a separate scholarship available for the TN trip through the SSS by NAIS program.
There will be local Service Week opportunities offered as well. They will be presented to students in October.
