On February 22, Dr. Carlo Guadagno, a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine, visited the Center for Medical Sciences to speak to Pre-Med Club members and students taking Mrs. Peck’s Anatomy and Intro to Medical Sciences classes.
Dr. Guadagno has treated numerous athletes in his career, and he was chosen as one of 16 DCs to work with athletes at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. He spoke to students about what a DC does, how they improve functionality in the body, and he talked about a handball athlete with a neck issue who he helped during the Olympics. Those who attended thank Dr. Guadagno for coming and are appreciative of the opportunity to learn from someone so distinguished.
