Parent volunteer Catherine Nelke from the International Connections group and Roderick Avery Fludd, Director of Diversity and Inclusion, have partnered to bring the world to Experiential School classrooms through a new Global Readers program.
Multilingual parent volunteers are invited to read to Alpha and JK students in their language(s) of origin. Students will be given the opportunity to ask questions about other cultures and traditions during the storytime.
The next session will be March 26 at 10am. If you would like to volunteer to read one morning next semester, please contact Mr. Fludd at [email protected]. It is approximately a half hour commitment.
We are excited about this new initiative and hope your students will enjoy it too!
