Third Grade: Be the Change [Video, photos]

This year's third grade show, "Be the Change," was created by Ms. Marilyn and the third grade teaching team. The students have been learning about activists and change makers in the classroom, and shared an original, thought-provoking performance with the Shorecrest community right on the heels of leading a moving Children's March for Social Justice around campus.

Third grade students are learning that they are responsible for making a difference in the world. They began a journey in becoming critically conscious, compassionate, and empathetic. The hope is that this new third grade show and supporting curricula inspire the students, audiences and others to rise up, stand out, take risks, and Be the Change.
