Cross Country Finished Strong at District Meet

The Varsity Cross Country Chargers competed in the 1A District 10 meet this week. Both teams had strong finishes. In order to move on to Regionals teams had to place in the top three, and the top four placing individuals who are not members of an advancing team can advance to the Regional meet (Friday, November 6 in Lakeland.)
The girls ran a great race in a tough field of runners with a second place team finish - moving the team into the Regional meet next week! Congratulations to Lili S. '25 for a 2nd place individual finish and Sabrina Aboud '22 at 10th, and Alex E. '26 at 13th.
The boys just missed placing in the top three with a 4th place team finish, however the Chargers did take 3 out of 4 spots for individuals with Trey F. '23, Gage Fratello '21, and Alex Wisotsky '23 all advancing to the Regional Meet.
