MS Boys Soccer vs. Northside Christian: 9-2 Win!
We had 6 players score: Billy F '29 (3), Drew E '28 (2), Andrei I '27 (1), Victor C '27 (1), Dash J '28 (1) and Paul S '27 (1).
Varsity Boys Soccer vs. Jesuit: 0-3 Loss.
Varsity Girls Soccer vs. St. Pete High: 8-0 Win!
Shutting out a St. Pete rivalry is always a fun thing. Doing so while scoring eight goals is more impressive. With two penalty kicks, one by Kaja Dionne '24 and another by Addie Oman '24, in addition to an early goal by Lili Scoby '25 from a free kick outside the eighteen yard box, the Chargers dominated the field of play and left few questions about who was the better team on the night.
Kaja Dionne '24 led the Chargers with four goals. Sonoma Kasica '24 made three saves and recorded a shutout. Addie Oman '24 recorded two goals and an assist.
MS Girls Soccer vs. St. Stephens: 1-2 Loss.
JV Boys Soccer vs. St. Pete Catholic: 2-1 Win!
The game was a hard fought victory, especially after the Chargers were scored on first. It was tied 0-0 at the half, with Shorecrest having several clear chances to score. Once the second half began, St Pete Catholic scored early. But the Chargers never gave up and were determined to get a goal. Leighton Williams '25 did so in the final 20 minutes. Within the final 10 minutes of the game, we got a long throw-in opportunity and Luke Lavoie '26 threw the ball into a dangerous area, and the opponent could not deal with it, and they ultimately scored an own goal. The Chargers were ecstatic with their first win.
