Honors Physics students worked to understand how spreadsheets can be used to determine key physical values from the linearization of essential physics equations, including the determination of key sources/values of uncertainty.
Through a Gravity Lab the Chargers determined the local acceleration due to gravity using a pendulum. Students used a video timer application on their cell phones to measure the period of a simple pendulum, and then determined the local acceleration due to gravity with Google Sheets.
