Thespian Troupe 3140 at 2023 FL State Festival

Upper School News


Congratulations to Shorecrest Thespian Troupe 3140!

From Thursday through Saturday, Upper School Thespians attended the Florida State Thespian Festival held at the Tampa Convention Center. Students took part in theatrical workshops and attended mainstage performances including the David Lindsay-Abaire play "Rabbit Hole" at the beautiful Tampa Theatre, and the Peter Stone musical "1776" performed at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. 

Over the course of the festival each school may present up to six qualifying acts, and all of the Shorecrest acts received adjudication awards at State.
