Shorecrest Chargers MS Football vs. Indian Rocks Christian: 30-28 Win!

In a packed house at Indian Rocks Stadium the Chargers took an early lead with a 3 play drive for a touchdown, but Indian Rocks quickly answered with a touchdown of their own. After going into the half down 22-16, the Eagles possessed the ball on one drive after the second half kickoff that took up all but 55 seconds of the 3rd Quarter and scored another touchdown that made it a two score deficit. But after 2 fourth quarter touchdowns and a 2 point conversion for the lead, the Chargers defense held up in the red zone with just seconds left to stop Indian Rocks as the last ticks ran off the clock. It was a great team win! 

Jonah B '28 connected with Jackson S '28 on a short out route and raced up the sideline for a momentum changing touchdown. Jackson then returned the favor by throwing a touchdown to a wide open Jonah B '28 later in the 4th quarter. The Chargers came back from a 12 point 4th Quarter lead to tie the game at 28, and Colin J '28 made a cut and went in for the 2 pt conversion to take the lead late in the game. Jackson S '28 saw time at Fullback, Tight End, Quarterback, Linebacker, Defensive End & Safety and played a dominant game throughout without missing a single snap.
