Studying Vision in AP Psych

Upper School News

Shorecrest Upper School students who are taking AP Psychology have been deep-dive studying biological basis of behavior - including the parts of the brain and neural communication in thought and memory. Now they're onto sensory stimuli; i.e. learning about the five senses.

After covering the parts of the eye in their textbooks, Mrs. Peck, Upper School Science Teacher, demonstrated an eye dissection, giving students a hands-on look at the biology behind vision.

Their teacher, Mr. Seymour, said, "One of the best things about working here is having access to experts in myriad fields. It's such a blessing to have experts who can share the best, most accurate instruction on the wide range of study that this course encompasses."
