Shorecrest Chargers Girls & Boys Swimming and Diving vs. St. Petersburg Catholic & Calvary Christian: Girls split the win and boys won both!
Girls: Shorecrest 89, St Pete Catholic 81; Shorecrest 73, Calvary Christian 144
Boys: Shorecrest 140, St. Pete Catholic 53; Shorecrest 128, Calvary Christian 74
The Chargers survived the first meet of the season with all the jitters that go along with starting something new, and had some really good results!
The Girls and Boys both won the 400 Free Relay. Izzy Riva '27 won both 50 Free and 500 Free, and Maddox Matyas '26 won both 200 Free and 500 Free. Winning one event each: Anton Ho '26 (100 Fly), Leonardo Ho '28 (100 Free), and Izzy N. '29 (100 Fly).
Middle School winners: Ethan B. '31 (50 Free) and Steele G. '30 (50 Back).
"I'm really proud of the job the team did and I'm looking forward to improving over the course of the season!" shared Coach Nardozzi.
