Volleyball Weekly Update

Shorecrest Chargers JV Volleyball vs. Largo High School: Loss. (19-25, 25-18, 10-15)

At the "white out" match there was overall high energy and the Chargers put up a great fight. It was an amazing first home game of the season.

Shorecrest Chargers Varsity Volleyball vs. Largo: 3-2 Win! (16-25, 13-25, 25-23, 25-17, 15-12)

The cheering crowd was like a 7th player for the Chargers -- the students & families were electric! The Chargers were down two sets and came back to win in 5 for a reverse sweep!

"I'm so proud of our girls," Coach Taksas said. "For the effort they put out on the court and the fight that they had. Our young players stepped up big time and our leaders did too!

Some standout stats from the night: Christina Satterfield '25 had 16 kills, 2 aces, 4 digs and 2 blocks. Emma Satterfield '28 had 7 kills, 1 block, 6 digs. Sara Ferris '28 had 29 assists, 7 digs, 3 aces, 1 block, and 1 kill.
