Shorecrest hosts Tampa Bay Classic [video]

Shorecrest Preparatory School hosted the Tampa Bay Classic at North Shore Aquatic Complex all day Saturday. The swimmers stayed cool in the pool while the coaches and parents roasted on the unseasonably hot Saturday in October.
Swimmers arrived to the complex early Saturday for a long day full of swimming as the diving portion of the competition took place Friday.

Preliminaries started at 8:30am while finals took place at 5:00pm with 15 teams and 382 students in attendance.
The largest school to attend was Tampa Preparatory School who had 41 swimmers.
The meet started with the medley relay and then moved into freestyle with a total of 23 events.
