Sixth-grade English and social studies classes collaborated on a three-week mini-project creating Hindu Deity Pop-Up Cards. The students learned all about HInduism in social studies, and they took the research further by choosing a Hindu Deity using a class set of books.
After being shown how to create a simple pop-up card with at least two tabs, the students used their reserach to create cards that highlighted their knowledge of their deity in fun and creative ways.
