Nearly eight million students currently participate in high school athletics in the United States. Roughly 5% of them will be lucky enough to play their desired sport at the college level.* This month, Shorecrest Preparatory School in St. Petersburg Florida, celebrated two more members of the Class of 2016 who signed on as athletes for next year. Please congratulate:
- Peter Litsky '16, who will be playing tennis at Brown
- Kobi Mathews '16, who will be playing soccer at the University of North Florida
Peter thanked his friends for being so understand the last few years when he couldn't stay out late with them or sleep over at anyone's house because of early tennis practices the next morning. Kobi's club soccer coach, Hans Burt from Strictly Soccer FC, touched on Kobi's drive and dedication.
