Shorecrest Upper School students in AP Psychology wrapped up a unit on Sensation and Perception by completing various sensory labs. This unit helps students bridge the gap between how our body takes in input from the outside world and how we interpret it into meaningful information, thereby influencing our thoughts and behaviors.
The labs tested concepts including tactile receptors, sensory interaction, perpetual adaptation, and the impact of expectations on sensory interpretation.
