Financial Literacy Guest Speaker Edric Engert

Shorecrest parent Edric Engert was interviewed by Maksym Mikula '24 on behalf of the Financial Literacy Class and Career Club. Mr. Engert spoke about his career, education and recent moves to fund his own passions and launch his own Venture Fund. Upper School students were invited to attend.

Maksym shared, "A huge thank you to Mr. Engert who shared his knowledge, creative problem solving, networking, innovating efficiency, and the simple lesson that if you are going to do it... CRUSH IT!"

Earl Walton, Director of Shorecrest's Ross Roeder Institute for Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurship and Economics (RRI) said of the conversation, "When our kids were young they asked us, 'Where do you go all day?' Now they want to know what we DO all day. I am thrilled to have so many leaders in our community willing to spend a day, tell a story, inspire the future. Thank you Edric!"
