Head of School Letter: Elevating the Shorecrest Experience - Spring Giving Week 2025

It’s Shorecrest Fund Giving Week, a time to come together to actively support the people and programs that make our school thrive, and express our gratitude for the generosity from across the  Chargers community. 

The Shorecrest Fund is our annual giving campaign that plays a critical role in supporting the School’s Mission and Core Values. Your annual gifts directly benefit our amazing students, faculty and staff, and are essential in helping us deliver on our Mission every day. Every gift makes a difference; all contributions and full participation reflect the strength of this community. 

The Shorecrest Fund supports the people and programs that make Shorecrest special.

• Talented teachers and inspiring professional development 
• Robust student support services through the CAE and our counseling team
• Innovative curriculum and creative programming including the Global Scholars Initiative, Peck Center for Medical Sciences, STEAM, field trips, student clubs and organizations
• Incredible offerings in performing and visual arts, athletics, robotics and more
• Tuition assistance that ensures that children, regardless of their families’ financial resources, can attend Shorecrest, helping to create a diverse community of students to become lifelong learners

We have been delighted to see the growth in membership of the First Street Society, doubling in size in only its second year. We were able to honor this group of generous leadership donors with a special dinner last week. We look forward to next week’s 1923 Society Celebration, a chance to recognize our oldest giving society and thank those members of the community for their significant annual contributions.

Gifts to the Shorecrest Fund allow us to best serve our students by addressing immediate needs, launching new initiatives, and responding swiftly to opportunities and challenges.
