HOST A FRENCH EXCHANGE STUDENT for 2 weeks

Host families are needed for two weeks for the annual French Exchange Program.

Host a French student from January 31 - February 15, 2019!

Hundreds of students over the past 23 years have participated in the exchange program between Shorecrest and lycée Bayen, France. Host families are needed to continue this enriching and fun tradition. We need 9 more families for 2 weeks (we already have 9 at this time.) The 9 students still waiting for host families are all girls. These students are financially independent and have health insurance. All of them speak English. Each day, they come to Shorecrest with their American counterpart. The French students have excursions and activities, but they will be back on campus by 2:45, so they can leave with their counterparts. You do not have to change your schedule. If you have extracurricular activities, they can come with you. Since their 2 French teachers give them a lot of work, they can also go home and do homework.

If you are an Upper School student you will earn 10 community service hours for hosting.
