Experiential School News

In support of a study on wood and woodworking, Ms. Summers' JK class embarked on an exciting field trip to the local shop, Anderson Lumber. The class had the privilege of meeting with Ms. Blaine and the skilled crew at the lumberyard, who warmly welcomed them to their world of craftsmanship. The young learners were treated to a tour of the vast workspace and had the opportunity to interact with many of the experienced workers. Their visit was awe-inspiring, as they witnessed several large machines in action, including the impressive band saw.
