Congratulations to the Shorecrest students who participated in this year's Pinellas County History Day competition. This year’s theme was Frontiers in History.
Pinellas History Day is the county event of a national organization called National History Day that makes history come alive for middle and high school students by engaging them in discovery of the historic, cultural, and social experiences of the past. The goal of students participating in NHD is to learn critical thinking and problem solving skills, research and reading skills, self esteem and confidence. 1st and 2nd place winners from Pinellas History Day go on to compete at the State and possibly National level.
