Welcome to a new school year with the Shorecrest Community Association (SCA)! All members of the Shorecrest community - parents, teachers, guardians and friends - are automatically members of SCA. There are no membership applications, dues or meeting requirements. Please participate in ways that fit your schedule and are most meaningful to your family. Welcome New Shorecrest Students and Families
- We first and foremost want to welcome the new families to our community. We are so glad you have chosen Shorecrest! Returning families, please introduce yourself to our new families around campus and at your division-wide social.
Save these Dates
- Mark your calendars for our bi-annual BIG EVENT to be held Friday, February 10th at the Mahaffey Theater. Please plan to join us for an evening of fun and fund-raising.
- Get involved with planning the BIG EVENT in any way you can. Learn more at the kick-off meeting: September 16 at 8:15am at the home of Elizabeth Samuelson: 117 Bay Point Dr NE.
- Friday, September 9, 8:15am will be the first SCA meeting of the 2016-17 school year. SCA is pleased to host Officer Chip Wells of the St. Petersburg Police Department to discuss internet safety. The meeting will be held in the Student Activity Center, between the Theatre and the Media Center. All members of the Shorecrest community are invited to attend.

- The Co-Chairs of the Parent Ambassador Program, Lisa Hahn and Susannah Malison, and all the wonderful Parent Ambassador volunteers! Parent Ambassadors help welcome new families and aid in their transition to becoming a part of our school community. This program is truly priceless.

- October 1 - Shorecrest Night at the Rowdies! Join the Shorecrest community at Al Lang Stadium to cheer on the Tampa Bay Rowdies. More info coming soon.
- October 7 – SCA Meeting: Upper School Head Tom Dillow to address "What we now know about how students learn best, and what we can do to help them"
