Dr. Anna Baralt, Shorecrest's Director of Instructional Technology, visited Junior Kindergarten classes to introduce Kebo and the ozobots, small robots used to teach coding. Kebo has to be assembled, and the children plot their course using directional blocks. The ozobots actually move along lines, either on preprogrammed cards or on blueprints drawn by the children. When the line changes color, so does ozobot! These were a huge hit and the children can't wait to have additional experiences with them and the coding apps on the iPad.
