Exploring the Arts

The Alpha students are getting to know the people in their community and are now focusing on the people who help to make it beautiful - artists of all kinds. First-hand experience is always the best way to learn so over the last several days the children engaged in exploration with musical instruments, dance and movement, painting and drawing materials, and even culinary arts!
Students also visited some on-campus artists, beginning with Sue Rowe and Charla Gaglio, faculty artists and art teachers, who welcomed some of the children to the Lower and Upper School art studios. How fortunate our young students are to have access and the opportunities to experience all of these wonderful things.
