Junior Kindergarten Activity Day

The Junior Kindergartners wrapped up their global study and celebrated their virtual journey around the globe with a day that included a trek through the “continents” in the outdoor classroom, making terrariums that will grow like the plants in the rainforest, and puppets of animals from around the world to use for shadow dancing, as well as making lunch to eat with their parents.
A big highlight of the morning was a visit from Wildlife Rescue who brought and taught the children about a 600 pound Siberian tiger, a young alligator and a ball python!
Following these activities, the children entertained their parents before sitting down to enjoy their multi-cultural lunch together. Thank you to our wonderful parent partners who spent their morning helping the children and the teachers!
