Alpha parents were treated to front row seats at the hottest act of the season when the Alpha students participated in the first ever Alpha On the Go-athon! The event not only allowed students to show off their freestyling skills on wheels, but also wrapped up their curricular transportation unit.
Throughout the action-packed morning students rode their favorite wheeled vehicle - tricycle, bicycle (with or without training wheels), balance bike, scooter or Hot Wheel - and rode donuts around the Lower School basketball court with all eyes on the cyclists. Parents were also treated to a photo slideshow from the 2017-2018 school year and a power-up breakfast before the heats got started.
Strong performances were seen by the pink team, yellow team, orange team, green team and blue team - recognizable by the tie-dyed and stamped shirts they wore, which they decorated themselves. The unscripted and unforgettable occurrence finished off in a rocking dance party for all in attendance.
