Alpha students were excited to board Gus the bus this week when they visited the Sustainable Family Farm. There, students were broken into three groups and rotated through stations. Students learned how to hold, pet and feed chickens. Students mixed clay, dirt and seeds to make seed balls of either wild flowers or fruits and veggies to take back to school. The third group acted as farmers as they weeded, watered and planted in the garden beds. The trips were farmtastic!
