Last week, JK students and their visitors enjoyed a morning of under the sea fun! The day of activities culminated their studies of water, the habitats it creates and the plants/animals that live in those habitats.

- boat making and testing propulsion
- observing live fiddler crabs
- making an ocean in a jar
- observing real shark, blue crab and squid specimens
- making a hotdog octopus snack
- Guest experts from the Florida aquarium presenting "sensing nature." Students learned about animal senses and observed a live eastern box turtle.
