Roderick Fludd, Director of Diversity & Inclusion, presented an ES Parent Seminar, "Talking with Young Children About Race Part 2" on January 14.
In this continuation of our first guided talk, we dove deeper into a better understanding of the conversations we can have with Experiential/Lower School children. It is known and documented that children put things in categories from as young as 6 months old and use this skill to understand the world. This talk is for parents/guardians who want to learn how to support the development of our future global leaders.
