Honoring Mrs. Bell

Last Saturday, dressed in black and pink to resemble flamingos, the Experiential School Faculty and Special Friends surprised Mrs. Lori Bell with a retirement party. The ES team planned the party perfectly, and seeing her colleagues looking like her favorite bird was a lot for Lori to handle, so there were a few tears… maybe more than a few.
After 22 years at Shorecrest our dear Mrs. Bell will now enjoy life spending time with family and friends, dedicated to her favorite hobbies and traveling the world.
But don’t be surprised when you see her back in August. Lori has agreed to be the long-term substitute teacher for Jackie, so she will be back in the fall.
Lori has been filling our days with stories and a never ending love for children. Please join us in wishing Lori the best of luck on this new season of her life!
