Junior Kindergarten Chargers in Mrs. Rosas' and Mrs. Beggins' classes have been observing patterns. The students showed a fascination of unicorns, and Mrs. Hollenbeck brought in unicorn wrapping paper for students to use as they wished. They noticed the repeated pattern of unicorns in different directions, and wanted to design their own patterned wrapping paper. With flowers, leaves, paint and drawings, classes created a variety of patterns and made color copies to have their own wrapping paper. Now they are wrapping boxes in the classrooms.
