Join Dr. Lisa Bianco, Dominique Craft, and Dr. Sherri Danyali for a Breakfast Book Club on Wednesday, November 15 at 8:10am in the SAC. Throughout the year we will explore a series of books focused around how children learn.
Our first book will be "Balanced and Barefoot: How Unrestricted Outdoor Play Makes for Strong, Confident, and Capable Children," by Angela J. Hanscom. In this provocative read, Hanscom explores a range of reactive behaviors and emotions that cause kids to struggle and offers practical ways to give kids the kinds of experiences that will help them thrive. Read more about the book in Dominique's blog post.
Pick up a copy and join us on November 15th to discuss, debate, and, hopefully, gain a deeper understanding of modern childhood.
