The Shorecrest Community Association (SCA) is the Shorecrest version of a school PTA. Governed by an elected board of volunteer leaders, SCA sponsors social events and fundraising events, provides volunteer support for school initiatives, hosts speakers and so much more.
Meet our 2019-2020 SCA Board! (Pictured left to right):
Presidents - Lisa Hahn and Tara Gaffney '96
Vice Presidents - Lindsey Lamb and Jennifer Phelps
Secretaries - Corrie Stover '90 and Jennifer Casanta
Treasurers - Jaren Wright and Sam Soth
Volunteer Coordinators - Samantha Nevins and Rebecca Armacost
Every Shorecrest parent/guardian, grandparent, alumnus and staff/teacher is automatically a SCA member. There are no membership dues or requirements.
There is a place for everyone with SCA! Whether you have one hour once a month, or want to chair a committee throughout the year - please get involved! Working alongside other volunteers is a great way for you as an adult to become part of the fabric of the Shorecrest Community. Your participation also enriches the Shorecrest experience for each and every student.
