Two weeks ago I shared the concept of loose parts with you. One essential aspect of working with all of these materials is that they are developmentally inclusive. Children of all abilities and ages can work with them because there is no right or wrong way.
All children can achieve competence, bring their strengths, feel independent and be successful members of a group. It also supports the interaction of children of every cultural background.
