Explore Time is Back in the Experiential School

Experiential School News

Friday was one of the happiest days of the year here at The Experiential School.
It started with the fact that we were all having a Pajama Day so the smiles were bright enough to light up the building. I will say that the teachers were happier than the kids because everyone truly enjoys being comfy.

To make things better, it was a day when ES students had a chance to be part of Explore Time. Children could be part of a variety of activities that took place in different parts of the building. Similar to “Choice Time” or "Centers" but bigger. They had a chance to work with children from other classes, with freedom to move from one room to another, including the outdoor classrooms and the Exploratorium.

The ability to make choices and to interact with a wider range of friends provides the students with countless learning opportunities. Being able to move away from their comfort zone and to thread new relationships is one of the most important goals of Explore Time.

The building had a humming sound of learning, collaboration, creativity, excitement and joy!

I hope they went home telling you everything about it. We are ready for more Explore Time with many new opportunities and provocations.
