Every five years, Shorecrest has Accreditation Teams representing the Florida Council of Independent Schools, the Southern Association of Independent Schools and AdvancED spend three days on campus to ensure we are complying with standards and that we have a clear plan for continuous school improvement.
The Community Survey is one of the objective measures used by Shorecrest and other independent schools as we seek community feedback regarding our strengths, weaknesses and opportunities. Responses from parents, trustees, students, faculty, staff, past parents and recent alumni help us get a comprehensive picture of our performance. The data is useful as we develop our School Improvement Plan.
In the past, over 700 parents have participated in the Community Survey. The Kensington Group in Indianapolis administers the anonymous survey. Results are sent directly to Kensington. Shorecrest receives statistical reports and copies of all comments.
Cheers!
